Green screening-
What was easy about the screening:
The process of making the green screen on final cut express was easy to follow and made it quick and easy to do. Also the chroma key was easy to get use to.
What was the difficulties:
We found that the perspective of the green screening was hard to get right at first, for example Ben was too big for the beach and then we had to find out how to re-size the image.
Also when filming the green screen you need to take into account the color of clothing you are wearing and sometimes Lucy's hair color made it difficult to screen as parts of you went missing or disappeared making it seem unrealistic.
How could it be used in videos:
We think it will be used in videos which have small budgets and want to make the actors seem in a different part of the country. For example if the producers have a small budget and cant take them around the world to film, then getting green screen images of them on a beach will be an alternative to them flying to a beach.
What music video genre could it be used for:
We think it would be best used for spectacle as they would be able to really randomize the video aspects and make it qwerky, this will fit the genre well and it could come in handy best for them.
How could we use it in our video:
We think this could be useful in our video if we wanted to make it seem random like spectacle or if we were doing narrative about re-living moments then it could be good for getting to places we may not be able to afford to go to. For example say if they were reliving a moment on the beach this could be done via green screen.
